Do you take insurance?
Our services are self-pay but we happily provide superbills for clients to submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. As a non-Medicare provider, we are unable to see Medicare clients for occupational and physical therapy services, but are pleased to offer our Wellness Packages that provide the same level of expert insight from our expert therapists.
Where are you located?
SPMS therapists provide home-based PT and OT services in central Maryland including Howard and Montgomery counties. We also provide occupational therapy services in Frederick County.
Our clinic is located within the Comprehensive Pain Center at 8894 Stanford Blvd., Columbia, MD 21045. SPMS Founder and Owner, Lydia Nemirovsky, treats patients personally at this location. Her focus is on chronic pain wellness and occupational therapy sessions that involve manual therapy, movement/exercise, pain education, nutrition training, and more. All sessions are in a private area with a door, perfect for individual or small group sessions.
For patients outside of our treatment areas or unable to visit us in the clinic, we offer virtual visits via telehealth.
Can you only treat patients in Maryland?
Currently we are only able to offer physical and occupational therapy to residents of Maryland. If you live outside the state we can offer our Wellness services via telehealth.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, checks, or direct payment via Zelle. If payment is made via credit or debit card there is a 3% processing fee added to the total amount.
